As with blushes, I very often layer a powder highlighter over a cream or a liquid one. Those I use the most frequently are:

I use shade 2 Fair all year long and shade 3 Fair mostly in summer as it is slightly more peachy. Its semi-liquide formula allows to easily use it either on specific points or overall on the face. - Essence Pure Nude Highlighter
I found the shade I have, 10 “Be my highlight” during one of my trips to the U.S. It is the most flattering neutral shade for every day. For some reason, and although Essence is a European brand, I never found this specific shade here. It is a best seller in the U.S. and even available on the Essence U.S. website and not on the European one. Go figure. - Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter
This powder highlighter is very finely milled and Opal is a gorgeous neutral, white gold with soft pink pearl shade. Becca products are widely available online, especially on Cult Beauty, Sephora, Space NK.
