I equally like powder and cream eyeshadows. I use them often in place of powder eyeshadows, especially if I want to achieve a quick look but nevertheless with some impactful effect. I also use them as a base in order to enhance the look and longevity of the powder shadows I apply on top.

My favorite ones come in two different formulas: Long-Wear Cream Shadow Sticks from Bobbi Brown and Eyes to Mesmerise creams in pots from Charlotte Tilbury.

From the swatches below, all cream shadows appear very opaque and dark as I wanted to really show you the colors and how different they are. However, the texture of both the stick and cream formulas is so flexible that you can sheer them out and achieve the intensity that you want.
